How do you get inspired to write?

Aida Jacobs There is no one way for me to get inspired to begin writing because inspiration is literally everywhere. It could be something as simple as song that comes on the radio, or a line of dialogue uttered by a beloved character in either a favored book or movie...or, it could be something that completely sneaks up on you when you're not even actively thinking about anything. Case in point, I happened to be in the shower one night with my mind completely blank when I was suddenly hit (with what felt like the force of a sledgehammer) with the inspiration for a character in 'Dragon Guardian: Water'.

My point is, that inspiration is everywhere around you. You just need to be open to it.
