Rafael Rosa asked Martha Wells:

Hello! I loved "The Dark Gates" on "The Gods of H.P. Lovecraft", it was the best story on the collection, but I'm not sure if you have more stories on that universe. If so, which one? If not, which of your series would you recommend me to get started? Thanks :)

Martha Wells Hi, and thank you very much! I don't have any more stories with those characters yet, but that story is set in my Ile-Rien world, a generation or so after the end of the Ile-Rien trilogy. I write all different types of fantasy, but since you enjoyed "The Dark Gates," the book I'd recommend for you to start with is "The Death of the Necromancer" which came out from Avon Eos in 1998 but is still available in ebook. It's set in the city of Vienne, and is kind of a la Belle Epoque/Victorian with magic setting. It's a bit like a Sherlock Holmes-ish fantasy-mystery except with the Moriarty figure as the main character. There is a prequel short story to it called "Night at the Opera" which is free at Podcastle http://podcastle.org/story-texts/nigh... in text and audio. It's also in my ebook collection "Between Worlds: the Collected Ile-Rien and Cineth Stories."
