Hi Stephanie,
Yes, the books with the "symbol" covers are all part of my five-book Aona series, which I completed earlier this year. I deliberately went for a more stark, abstract feel for the covers as the books are certainly not "traditional" fantasy and I think my readers often prefer to have their own ideas about what a certain area or character should look like- also they fit in with the more sci-fi elements of the series.
My YA fantasy / sci-fi "Summer's Dark Waters" is however illustrated throughout, by Ankolie (www.ankolie.com) who managed to visualise my ideas for the illustrations so perfectly it was scary!

Not a question? just a comment. Love the charity you are donating to. Wonderful! My husband and I adopted our youngest son 15 years ago. He is severely disabled and we are always interested in charities and foundations that highlight adoption, especially "special needs" adoption. You have my utmost respect sir. :)
