Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sandra Martin Love Was Near is inspired by the movie, Trust Fund. The main character's father owns a publishing company and she desperately wants to be a writer, although she has the talent, she's distracted and makes some very poor life decisions, when she realizes what she's done, and comes back home, she finally has success with her writing career. The book she writes in the movie is Love Was Near. I hadn't intended on writing it, but when started asking question about what was in the book, I felt challenged to write it. It's written from the main character's voice and it's about her personal journey, and what she learned along the way.
