Yes, actually! My editor and I talked about doing that. It would be fun to send Mr. L on vacation to Florida. Nothing definite yet. But our minds are thinking alike!

P. T. Wilkie is not your first character who lives in a motel. I'm curious whether you're writing from experience in that area. Was it a childhood dream to live in a motel? Did you often visit a friend who did? Or is it just an idea you had to make a character stand out?
