I am currently reading The Red Goddess by Peter Grey as research for my current novel in progress, but also because I've had a twenty year fascination with the goddess Inanna, who is an ancestress of the Red Goddess Babalon. The book is a wild ride. It's fascinating, shocking, mind blowing, and somewhat exhausting. I find I need to take breaks to process Grey's maniacal musings on this goddess.
Grey is a writer and partner in Scarlet Imprint, a press of the occult. He produces books which are physically beautiful and works of art in their own right.
