Loved The Break Down great thriller. Where did you get the idea for this book? Have you started on your next book yet?

B.A. Paris Hi Renee, thank you for your question. I got the idea for The Breakdown from two sources. I was driving back through some woods one afternoon when a storm suddenly started and I wondered what I would do if I broke down on such a lonely road, especially if it was the middle of the night. And then I wondered what I would do if I saw someone who had broken down - would I stop or would I just drive on? This gave me the idea for a story. I also wanted to write about a woman who feared she was suffering from early onset dementia as some friends had told me of their experiences caring for parents with dementia. So I brought the two ideas together and created The Breakdown.
I've just finished my third book, it will be out next year!
