Danymph asked Kasie West:

by far which book did you enjoy writing the most? and what tips would you give to a new writer like myself? thx

Kasie West I probably enjoyed writing The Distance Between Us the most. This was the book I wrote right after I sold my first book (Pivot Point) and I wrote it "for fun". I didn't think I'd be able to sell it because it was so different than Pivot Point. It was a contemporary and PP was paranormal. I thought I'd have to sit on it for a long time or not do anything with it at all. This was actually a very free way to write--no pressure or expectations whatsoever. And it made it fun and somewhat easy. Tips for new writers: figure out what works for you, everyone writes different, don't compare yourself to others. Read a lot. Write a lot. Edit a lot. Share your work with others and be willing to take critique so that you can grow.
