I mean, it sounds like the lying game series by sara shepard. Similar idea as it's a thriller, the book is the same name and both characters play the "lying game" can anyone confirm the lying game aspect isn't some rip-off?

Tina Very different in concept and content. In addition, this is a standalone novel, not a several book series. Sara Shepard's book is closer to her own Pretty Little Liars series than either are to this book
