Penny Chapman
Penny Chapman asked Penelope Douglas:

Hi Penelope, When you finished the first draft of a manuscript, what do you do after that? Take a break oder start editing? When do you usually start a new manuscript? (while editing the last one? Or when you're completely done?)And do you write two books simultaneously? By the way ...thank you for Damon. ;)

Penelope Douglas Hey, Penny!

Yes, I start editing as soon as the first draft is done. If I have nothing to do until the editor gets edits back to me, then I'll start organizing promo--posts, teasers, boosted ads, scheduling takeovers...

I "usually" start a new book about a month later. Post release is very busy. Lots of time spent online promoting, answering messages, commenting on posts, thanking readers for reviews...by the time I realize it an entire day is gone. Lol. Plus, I'm pretty burnt out. So yes, I wait until I'm completely done with one book before I start another. I've never written 2 at the same time. I'm not sure I could. I feel I should be "in love" with one story, not dividing my attention between multiple. But everyone works differently. That's just me.

And you're welcome! Lots more of him coming ;)
