Betsy asked Glynnis Campbell:

What inspired you to have an Irish Robin Hood character in your next book, Desire's Ransom?

Glynnis Campbell Celtic forests are a big inspiration for me. I was born and raised next door to Bidwell Park in California, which was used as Sherwood Forest in the old Errol Flynn "Robin Hood." So my childhood haunts were woodlands and streams, and I used to fantasize about living in the forest. I'd always loved "Robin Hood" stories, but since I like to put a twist into my plots, I decided to make the outlaw a woman. It turns out Ireland actually did have bands of outlaws in medieval times, so that's where I set the book!
