Hi Maddie,
I'm so glad you enjoyed THE NEPTUNE PROJECT! I am very worried about climate change, I've always been fascinated by the ocean (we don't have them in Colorado where I grew up :), and I needed to make money. I had a wonderful time researching the book. I found out so much I didn't know before about oceanography and marine biology. There is a sequel, THE NEPTUNE CHALLENGE, and I'm starting to write the third Neptune book this summer.
