Advice for aspiring writers? Join a really good writing club, the best you can find and hang-out with professional poets and writers...get a degree, though not necessarily in creative writing...don't write for a market...there are lots of people who are fantastic writers but write really boring books...pay for mentoring from a successful full-time author, get 1-2-1s with agents and publishers...get your voice out there, network, go to conferences...good luck!
