Goodreads asked David Lowther:

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

David Lowther Hi

I try to mix fiction with non-fiction. I'm still reading 'The Pursuit of Power' Richard Evans' History of Europe from 1815 to 1914. I'm about half way through but hope to complete it by the beginning of August.

With such a detailed book such as the above I also read other books at the same time. On my list for the next couple of months are The Grasshopper Lies Heavy by Chandler Duke, Agents of the State by Mike Nicol, The Plot against America by Philip Roth, Val McDermid's The Distant Echo, Deborah Lipstadt's Denying the Holocaust and Dadland by Keggie Carew - quite a variety I'm sure you'll agree.

Happy reading to all
David
