Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Chris Grabenstein The idea for THE ISLAND OF DR. LIBRIS came while we were visiting my sick father-in-law at his home on a lake in Michigan. There is an island out in the middle of that lake. I wished I could slip away into an imaginary world, the way you can with a good book during bad times.
