Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Cyndi Carter I got the idea for "The Road Home" years ago (the beginning scene and part of the ending), but didn't have the time or the confidence to write. Finally, around fall of 2012 or 2013, I decided I just had to get it down on paper.
