I've always been a fan of boy-next-door books. There's just something inherently romantic about the idea. So I knew I wanted to write a story about it. And I grew up with 2 brothers so I always wanted to write a story where brothers played a big role. So that was the inspiration for ON THE FENCE.

On point: I'm not asking for a sequel! I love how everything wraps up in The Distance Between Us. I guess my question is a little different. I would like to know how you go about writing your books. Do you write down all the details and outline everything, or do you just jump in and edit later? (Speaking as an avid reader toying with the idea of writing) Thanks, and I love your books!!!

Hi Kasie!! I love your books so much; I love all of your characters and I find them to be very relatable. I think Gia and Charlie are both very realalistic and I see a lot of myself in them.
