Is it just me or is Into the Water hard to read because its so jumbled with all characters? I can't grasp the whole plot because I am always confused where its going.

So you get a chapter that you don't know what to do with and by the time those characters come up again you have totally forgotten those unrelated chapters. It wasn't so bad when you had an incident involving multiple characters and then you switched to the POV of one character to that of another character from the same incident. Then you at least had some context and continuity. I think if some of the POVs were at least later so you knew who the character you jumped into was that would have made it easier.(less)
