Is it just me or is Into the Water hard to read because its so jumbled with all characters? I can't grasp the whole plot because I am always confused where its going.

Maybe the author intended on focusing on Jules, but then she veered off into the perspective of the female detective, Erin. And a whole host of people popped in, some of whom I couldn't care less about. Overall a "C" grade book IMHO, not as well done as her first.(less)
