Is it just me or is Into the Water hard to read because its so jumbled with all characters? I can't grasp the whole plot because I am always confused where its going.

This practice, along with repeatedly reviewing each character’s family members and their relationships to others in the town, provided context and I slowly began to follow along. I did think that I was becoming old and slow, so sadly, am happy to know others were confused as well! Did enjoy the book once I was following if along more easily.(less)
