Is it just me or is Into the Water hard to read because its so jumbled with all characters? I can't grasp the whole plot because I am always confused where its going.

After writing it I looked at other reviews, and, yes, MANY thought the characters were convoluted. Also, I didn't like ANY of them, so... probably not a Hawkins reader in the future.(less)

Beth I agree. I am getting irritated with the multiple point of view novels that skip over character development for a trick to move the plot along.
