Oddly, I have gotten into Tui T. Sutherland's WINGS OF FIRE series. (I really do read a bit of everything!) They remind me of all the anthropomorphic and fantasy novels I read growing up, such as WATERSHIP DOWN, BIRTH OF THE FIREBRINGER, RATHA'S CREATURE, and THE HEAVENLY HORSE FROM THE OUTERMOST WEST. It's a nice break from my own writing!
