Marie Brennan I'm doing research for the next book set in the world of Lady Trent, which means reading a great many folkloric epics: just finished the Mahabharata, currently in the middle of the Epic of Gilgamesh, debating between the Popol Vuh and the not-quite-traditional Kalevala next!
