Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Edoardo Albert History. While researching my non-fiction account of the history and archaeology of the kingdom of Northumbria, I learned of the stories of kings Edwin, Oswald and Oswiu, and thought at the time what an extraordinary story arc they made - surely someone must have written about them already. But nobody had. So I did!
