Goodreads asked Jonathan Maas:

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Jonathan Maas Oh man this is a long list! My trick? I queue a book up at the library to be delivered, which gives me a week or more buffer to get through the other books! But a most likely partial list:

Already read:
* Carrie Pilby by Caren Lissner - and then all of Lissner's other books
* Sapiens - Yuval Noah Harari - Should be required reading for the human race, best popular non-fiction book since Cosmos
* The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood
* Many others - but these come to mind!

To Read:
* The Brothers Karamazov - Fyodor Dostoevsky
* Lincoln in the Bardo - George Saunders
* Split Second - Douglas E. Richards
* Deliver us from Evil - David Baldacci
* The Girl Before - JP Delaney
* Bad Boy Brawley Brown - Walter Mosley
* Debbie Doesn't Do It Anymore - Walter Mosley
* Mouseguard [series] - David Petersen
* Nailbiter [series] - Joshua Williamson
* The Survivor - Gregg Hurwitz
* The Gunslinger - Stephen King
* What the bleep do we know!? : discovering the endless possibilities for altering your everyday reality - William Arntz
* Yokai attack! : the japanese monster survival guide - Hiroko Yoda
* Into the Water - Paula Hawkins
* Learn to Draw Now! - D. C. DuBosque
* Feel the fear and do it anyway - Susan Jeffers
* The first 20 hours : how to learn anything ... fast - Josh Kaufman

Hopefully more will be added - but here they are!
