Did Caroline preserve the unread letters from Paul? Do you know the contents of any of them? I really should ask if Paul was a real character and if so, is his daughter still alive? What became of her?

Martha Hall Kelly Paul was based on a relationship Caroline had, but I changed his name and created his persona. In my world Paul's daughter went on to become a celebrated actress and Caroline mentored her. The letters are a product of my imagination but I like to think Caroline eventually read them all.
