I was in the military a long, long time ago. Your ability to capture the feel of an actual military culture and make the technology believable is awesome. In your short bio it is mentioned that you were a soldier. What did you do in the military and how did you research for your books?

Marko Kloos I was an airborne recon scout and also the NBC (nuclear/biological/chemical) warfare defense NCO for my unit.

As for research--I read a lot of military and dystopian SF, but I didn't do any particular research for TERMS OF ENLISTMENT. I find that I have to do more and more of that as the series progresses and I have to expand my world building.

Love the books, a great feel just like the military, although I didn't have luck with finding a good woman like your character (gotta have some fiction). That said it felt like the Dejvu of going to the WWII museum in New Orleans. Different but similar if that makes sense. How far do you see the frontline series will go?

Hello, Mr. Kloos, Allow me to say that I am enjoying your Frontlines series having just finished ¨Angles of Attack¨. Do you have a timeline of sorts for the series, or a particular number of books? I have been told by one of my teachers years ago that I am an immature reader with my preference for happy endings. However, I hope our heroes in this series, ride off happily into the sunset, as it were. Thanks again.
