Do you think that when confronted with "mild" sexism in your day to day life that it is better to ignore it nor to call people out, respectfully, even if there isn't a chance that you will change a person's mind.

Roxane Gay It's certainly hard to always have to be trying to make the world a better place but if we never call out "mild" sexism, the people who perpetrate it may never realize what they are doing or that they have to change. We have to pick our battles, certainly, but sometimes, i tis beneficial to call this stuff out, even if it only makes us feel a little stronger in our own voices.
