Goodreads asked K.V. Scruggs:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

K.V. Scruggs You have to give yourself the permission to write badly. If you critique every sentence that makes it to the page, you can't make any progress in moving the story forward. Of course, good writing is what makes books sell, but you can't have a novel without a plot line. You can always fix the writing later - it's called editing!
