What kind of research do you do, and how long do you spend researching before beginning a book?
S.J. Kincaid
I do a lot of research as I'm writing. Basically, I have a foundation of knowledge that I believe to be generally correct, and then as I incorporate certain aspects I feel less solid about, I make heavy use of Google and wikipedia. Also Michio Kaku and Neil deGrasse Tyson are huge helps.

Hello, S.J Kincaid. I recently finished The Diabolic. I'm sure you know how great of a book it is. The overall story was a very interesting read for me- science fiction has never been something I easily give into. Now, I'd like to ask for the inspiration behind the butterfly. The cover was honestly simple and intriguing. I just don't understand, why not a scorpion, or perhaps a tiger? Even a frog would make more sense
