Do you wish that there was more documentation on Kate Warne's life, or were you glad for the opportunity to write her story as you imagined it?

Greer Macallister Selfishly, because I'm a novelist and not a nonfiction writer, the gaps in the historical record created a wonderful, inspiring space for me to fill! But I still wish her life were better documented. It would be great if more people knew about her, and the people whose stories are written down just have a natural advantage in history.
