What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Liz Fenton Hmmm... that's an interesting question! A few years ago back, while waiting to board a plane to London, my husband left to get a neck pillow and was gone for over thirty minutes, causing me to come up with several different scenarios of what might have happened to him. He eventually showed back up (he was just being REALLY slow!), but it made my mind start to spin. What if he hadn't come back? What if he had boarded another plane, maybe even with another woman? What if he had a whole other life I didn't know about? These thoughts led to a brainstorming session with Lisa that made us realize we really wanted to write suspense, and and eventually to the plot of THE GOOD WIDOW.
