Randy Alcorn:
Dear Randy, thanks for directing me to the fact that New Jerusalem will be a physical city, not a symbolic one, and that we will receive physical, glorified bodies. I very much accept this and cannot wait. There is one verse regarding Mount Zion in Hebrews that confuses me: "you have not come to a mountain that can be touched" (12:18). Here it seems this city is intangible?

Hi Peter,
My name is Shauna and I help answer questions for Randy. Here are a few articles that may be helpful!
Piper says this is a contrast between Christian reality on this side of the cross of Christ with OT reality at Mount Sinai and explains all that in this sermon: http://www.desiringgod.org/messages/y... See specifically “Motivation #1: The Love of a Great Savior” about halfway through.
Here is another short article if you think it might help… http://www.ligonier.org/learn/devotio...
Thanks!

Randy Alcorn:
I'm halfway through DOMINION, after reading and enjoying DEADLINE, quite a bit. However, I have to ask why have you made the reader wade through all the descriptive details - when such didn't seem to handcuff your previous effort? I cannot imagine the research that you had to wrap into this book, but the 'insider' racial knowledge appears to both vast and accurate (at least, from my perspective). God Bless, Tom
