Do you have plans for the Vampire Queen series to be produced in Audible?

Erin, I would love to make the VQ books available in Audible. Unfortunately, at this time the audio rights to books 1-9 belong to Penguin Random House and they've shown no interest in utilizing those rights. I continue to follow up with them in the hopes that I can either a) get them back so I can use them or b) inspire them to produce them for audio, but it's an ongoing process. If anything new develops on it, I will be crowing from the rooftops to all of you. Currently Nightfall, the book Desiree Holt and I self-published together, is the only VQS book available at Audible, but since it is a standalone in the series, at least it can be heard without having to listen to the other books (beaming). Thanks for asking the question.

Hi Joey. I'm asking this question of several writers, some friends, some strangers... Do you consider your writing process a "spiritual" practice? If yes, what makes it so? If no, why not? What, in your mind, either qualifies or disqualifies writing as a spiritual practice? Please feel free to either share concrete personal views on this, or approach it as a concept apart from you.
