Do you have a preferred method for writing? What I mean is, a block of time in the day? A specific space? Tools (pen laptop, etc). And do you edit on the fly or at intervals? Fascinated by the creative process.

Paula Hawkins I write on a laptop, in my office at home. I write best in the morning, by mid-afternoon I’ve usually run out of steam. After around 3pm I’m usually reading, researching, answering emails – that sort of thing. I carry a notebook to write down ideas, though I find the best ideas and fixes always come to me in the bath at the time when it’s least convenient to note them down.
