One of the best things about being a writer is hearing from readers. When I first started writing I dreamed of having my book on the shelf of a bookstore and library, so it was a big surprise when I started receiving the most lovely notes from people who had read my books and loved them - and I realized I got as much or more enjoyment from that part of being a writer as I did from actually seeing my book out in the world.
