Cathy answers “At the end of the book there is a passage...”

At the end of the book there is a passage that says "In ten years' time two of them will be playing professionally. One will be a dad. One will be dead." I must have missed something because I don't know who dies. Can anyone clarify for me? Thanks.

Earlier in the book, David had left a puck on Benji's father's grave because he knew Benji would find it there. I think he leaves another puck and his watch on the same grave. I am still left wondering about the other 3 boys. (less)
