What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Kerry Reed First, the words. I love them. Always have. Total word nerd here. Second, it's the opportunity to work all my favorite things, odd bits of knowledge and quirky side interests, into a story. The possibility that anything might be of use some day justifies my pursuit of the random and I love that. Third, it's the readers. I'm a big reader myself and when I read a story I connect with it's the best feeling in the world... except maybe the feeling when someone else connects with something I've written. That is amazing.
