Goodreads asked L.A.A. Law:

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

L.A.A. Law A few years ago someone who could only be described as nothing short of a specter was able to float past a surveillance camera sight unseen, enter a locked door and know exactly where a hidden set of car keys were placed in my office during the span of time it took me to travel from my desk to the back of our office suite and return to abscond with my automobile. This brilliant criminal knew exactly where to go, what to take, and knew the car keys that matched one of many vehicles in a crowded parking lot to abscond with the motor vehicle in a town where the police appeared to find the theft amusing since it was in a town where car thefts do not occur and despite the car being found a month later due to parking tickets in a town far away and fingerprints and stolen gift cards being found strewn throughout the interior, the specter is just that, a ghost who threw my life into a downspin, had access to our garage, and took the one item in the car, a stuffed animal that meant the world to its owner and yet they remained a mere image vanishing in the fog of injustice.
