What’s the best thing about being a writer?

David McPherson The best thing about being a writer is the variety of people I get to meet and the experiences I have on a daily basis. As a journalist, I've written on hundreds of subjects over the past 20 years. By researching, writing, and documenting other people's stories, I've learned a lot about so many industries and been taken to new places. Each day, the writing journey is different. That's the other thing I love - not knowing, when I roll out of bed in the morning, where my muse will take me. Finally, getting to do what I believe is my true calling and following my passion, there's nothing better than that.
