I don't accept the premise of writer's block. :) If I call the plumber, I don't want him to tell me he can't fix my toilet today because he has plumber's block. I'm a writer. It's my job to write even on those days when it's not easy. I stay at my desk until I get my pages done for the day. Sometimes that takes a few hours, and sometimes I'm there until late into the evening.

Hello Susan, I am an avid reader and especially love your books. I have read some of the Q&A from the past few days; and I am curious about what you like to read. Do you have the time to read other people's work, when it sounds like you have "full plate" all the time. Do you have any favorite authors of your own and do you read different genres?
