I ADORE your writing techniques and plot lines!!!!! In every book, you have the PERFECT characters!!! How do you come up with such clever, thought-out characters?

Kasie West AW! Thank you. That's so sweet. How do I come up with characters? It's a little different for every book. I try to think about what they need to learn and the weaknesses they have that are keeping them from that at first. I make sure they have strengths and weaknesses and then I put them in situations and try to make them react according to their character. I do lots of editing and lots of thinking about them. :)

My best was The Fill-In Boyfriend. Everything happening was all so genuine. I got quite emotional because somewhere inside us, outside we can't truly show our true selves. I loved it Ma'am. Do you have any tips for a young author writing a book? I feel like I have great ideas but I can't always put them to words and write a few hundred pages about it. I always end up getting bored with the story or can never find time to sit down and plan out what will happen.
