Not well, lol. Usually, I just try to push through it, writing and writing. Then, I'll go back and read what I've written and decide if it's any good. I have about twenty stories that I've written during a bout of writer's block that are no where near being finished. The good thing is that when it does happen and I am writing something crappy, I can come up with a better idea and get to work on that. Unfortunately, some bouts last longer than others.

Are Out at Home and Finding Home part of a series? I noticed there weren't any of the same characters but they both revolve around a player that plays for the Racers. If they are part of the same series, will there be any more and will they share any of the same characters?
