What happened to Dan Harwood after the shooting in the trailer park?

Linwood Barclay I believe there is a line in my most recent novel, Parting Shot, that says David is still working with the mayor, and was not charged in the incident. I don't know where you live, but if you are in the UK or Ireland, Parting Shot came out last week. The North American release is November.

Hi! Fellow TrentU alum (BA, B.Ed '14) here :) I always think of you and your books when I pass by Duckworth St in Barrie. It took me a bit to wonder... is there a connection there? Is that how Detective Barry Duckworth got his name? Do you often make connections to Ontario (or other local places) in your books? Or was this a complete fluke that I'm totally reading into?

On pg. 221 of the PB edition of Find You First, Kendra says to Rhys: " Phoenix is nice...Too bad there's no time to drive up to Sonoma." Doesn't she mean 'Sedona'? I couldn't find a Sonoma AZ and Sonoma CA is almost 800 miles from Phoenix.

I don't have a question, just a comment. Am I ever glad I stumbled on the Promise Trilogy by accident. I was looking for something else when I discovered your books. I think you've just become in the top 5 as my favorite authors. The twists and turns you concoct are so entertaining. I'm beginning the Zack series and it's hilarious. Can't wait to read everything you have out there (except the children books). ??
