I was watching one of your YouTube videos where you discussed your favorite books of 2015 and mentioned the play, Peter and Alice. It really intrigued me and I'd love to read it, but I was just curious if I should go into it with any background knowledge of Peter Pan? I'm not very familiar with the author or the history of the characters, so I just want to make sure I have enough background going in. Thanks!

Not really - though if you wanted to you could watch the film Finding Neverland (strays a little from the truth in places but very good). I also uploaded a video analysing Peter Pan a couple of weeks ago, which you could watch before reading the play.

I'm trying to find a book you recommended in one of your videos a few years ago that was (I think?) a magical realism or fantasy novel. I cannot remember the title or author (SO sorry), but the storyline had something to do with an author whose office door is a portal to another world, and a little girl goes through it and gets lost. It had a black cover with a picture of an open door on it. Sorry to be a pain!
