Does Quinniepeague exist or is it a fictional Island? I´m not from the USA, so I don´t know....If it exists,I´d like to go there someday.

No, I'm so sorry. It's fictitious! A devotee of Maine, I've visited many of the little islands along the Maine coast. Quinnipeague is an amalgam, taking a little from this one, a little from that one. I'm delighted you liked the island in my book well enough to want to visit it, especially since it much be far away for you!

I enjoy your books. Thank you. Any reason for Vermont in your next book ? And I am glad to hear you say typing is a valuable skill. I taught typing for years, and now they see no need for it in the schools. That is very sad. I think knowing how to type is as important as knowing how to read. Thank you for your comment.
