I just finished reading From Sand and Ash. What a wonderful book. I have been researching and reading books about World War II. This one is right at the top! I couldn't put it down, sometimes reading into the wee hours of the morning! Angelo and Eva have a love that is very rare. I learned a lot about that time period and to this day do not understand why the finger was pointed at the Jewish people? Great read!
