In Inheritance, Murtagh is under the control of Galbatorix. He says something along the lines of "I can't even put my boots on without Galbatorix's permission". So how is he visiting Nasuada?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Galbatorix WAS aware of Murtagh’s visits and was just allowing it as a way to get more leverage on the both of them. Galbatorix was very much aware that Murtagh and Nasuada were attracted to each other.

This has bothered me for a long time: when Galbatorix steals his second dragon and kills it's original rider, why doesn't the dragon die? Isn't it supposed to die when the rider dies? And was Shruiken's natural color black, or did it change when he was twisted to serve the evil king?
