What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Shilpi Yeah, I agree that to some extent a writer or an author is inspired by his or her own life or the life of someone he is close to. But, I also feel that its the only plot for the story, and the is the imagination of the author to create a book out of that plot. It is not necessary that all the characters or scenes in a story are real as they appeared to be. Its the beauty of th writing style that even the fictitious characters appears to be real.
