What driving force compelled me to change lanes late at night on the highway only to have a car fly past me going the opposite way in the lane I had been driving in.
Background information: I always drive in the fast lane and never, ever change lanes. That night though on that stretch of winding highway, for reasons I still can't explain to myself today, I changed lanes. About 30 to 45 seconds later, the car flew past me going the wrong way in the fast lane.
